Spaceballs the Raid now 5/13 10 man hardmodes

Congratulations to all that participated in the Heroic Magmaw kill last night. That makes for two relatively new heroic bosses that this group has downed in just as many days. Tomorrow we're focusing on BoT and clearing out our farm heroic content.

On a side note ... Exalted Order is still recruiting healers and ranged DPS for our second ten man group. If you're already raid geared or very close to being so, know your class and spec inside out, can make 100% of the raid times, and can contribute to the success of a guild raid hit us up with an application.

After a fun couple of hours on Heroic Atramedes 10 man style Spaceballs the raid is now 3 / 13 hard modes for 10 man content. Grats to Drasmir and Pathanther on their epic lootz.

Next week we're going dark for Maloriak's hard modes. Stay tuned for more updates

Many thanks to the veterans and the newbies on the kill last night. While most of us killed Al'Akir back in February on 10 man we hadn't quite gotten there with the new people brought in to our raid group. Never the less we did get him down after a brief battle, and moved on to BWD.

Now we get to work on heroic modes for the rest of the week!

Congratulations to Spaceballs the Raid for their first 10 man Nefarian kill. While we've killed it already on 25 man the 10 man was a thorn in our sides for not having it completed.

Looking forward to another raid week reset and pressing some more 10 man hard modes.

Welcome to Exalted Order's homepage. Feel free to look around and stay for a while. You'll notice a couple of things have been updated, such as our recruitment status, WoW armory link, and a newer feed which should hopefully be updated frequently.

Greetings and Salutations Everyone!

I know, I know! We've been slacking on the updates. I assure you it's only because we've been hard at work killing internet dragons to make the world (of warcraft) a safer place to live. We hope these updates will wet your appetite as we update you on our status.

First, let's talk about the political aspects. We're 11/12 on 25 man normal mode content has been cleared. Thanks to EVERYONE that made this happen ... While we were very slow at organizing when the expansion came out for 25 mans we did have 3 solid 10 man groups working to advance the guild and earn us prestige. We're still looking into possibilities for 25s, but we did have some issues early on with attendance and server transfers. Currently we've separated into two ten man groups to facilitate progression before the next expansion. We have one 10 man that's 5/13 and another that's 1/13 and both are agressively pushing other hard modes.

Now let's get to the fun stuff ...

First was our 10 man success with Al'Akir. I swear we must have worked for a solid week on getting the paths and air swimming lightning rods. Thankfully we finally destroyed him and the guild first was ours.

Next, came Cho'gall and despite all of his abilities was relatively easy. Keeping line of sight on him during P2 works wonders for positioning his adds that need to be dpsed quickly.

Finally, after numerous attempts on 25 man normal, we finally pwned Nefarian and Onyxia. The best part of the three nights we were working on them were Blizzards "hotfixes" to the bosses and adds fixate ability. Let me tell you, there's nothing like having all the aggro from Nefarian AND his minions bearing down on the tank that needs to be kiting them for no apparent reason...

Well ... that's about all for now. There will hopefully be further updates.

STUFF HAPPENED!!!!

Well, it's been about half a year since anything was updated on the main page here, and that's mostly due (i figure) to the amount of apathy and suck the end of Wrath slobbered all over everyone that played this game. There was literally nothing worth talking about. Sure, we built 4 legendaries, and we killed every boss in the game, and we did some other stuff too, but it was the most gigantic waste of time, space, and attention ever. At least now it's over because: THERE HAS BEEN A CATACLYSM! Or hadn't you heard? And with the new expansion, most of the suck got washed off this game that we hold so dear. Yay! Now on to the real news.

Our recruitment is still pretty much open to all quality applicants. We're struggling to field a solid 25man raid two nights a week, which has left us with two good 10mans. If there's one thing we as a guild appreciate most about this expac, it's the raid size flexibility. It's been great to begin an instance on 25 and finish on 10. Bastion of Twilight, for example, is now fully farmed, and next week we'll start Heroic attempts! As that might suggest, though, we've got to get more quality players in here. If you're a truly gifted player, and by that I mean that you know your class inside and out, then please feel free to apply anyway.

Recruitment Update 7/1/10

This is going to be short and sweet today. Halion just arrived, and we've already downed him on 10 man (with alts no less), so we're going to be giving his hard mode a crack this week. Should be fun! But the real news is that we've also found some incredible healing applicants to solidify our raiding team. Thanks to all the awesome healers who submitted apps!

As that might suggest, we've closed down all healing recruitment for the moment. If you're a truly outstanding healer though, and by that I mean that you can beat some of our current raiding healers' performances, then please feel free to apply anyway. Don't let the little "CLOSED" sign on the right there deter you.

Oh, and we also completed our second Shadowmourne. Grats to Kaluston that. Plaguies and Shampu, you're next!

Great News, Everyone! 11/12 Hardmodes!

Oh, Putricide. You were always my favorite. Next to Saurfang. The good news is you left behind so much loot, I can practically taste it! But terrible news, everyone. Putricide is dead! But great news, everyone! He left behind a Rigormortis for Dart the tortoise! Whaa...? I'm a poet, and I didn't know it? Astounding!

The good news, everyone, is we perfected a strat that destroyed all life in the Plague Wing! We didn't go in all dirty like that, either. We got all that nasty flesh scrubbed off first. Then we handled two oozes, one room! So many delightful possibilities, indeed.

At the end of the night, we got a "Hmm. I don't feel a thing. Whaa...? Where'd those come from?" And we responded with Victory: "Tastes like Cherry! Oh! Excuse me!" Until at last, after more "Hmm... Interesting..." and a few "unexpected" developments, BAD NEWS, everyone! Putricide didn't make it!

Yeah, i really just did that. :)
The Lich King better watch his back. For now, Frostmourne feeds on the souls of our fallen allies, but soon he will watch as the world around him collapses!

Another Expanded Update

With all the excitement surrounding hardmodes, and especially with the onset of summer, it's time to expand our recruitment needs again.
Yes, we all knew this would happen, and as predicted (every single summer) people are taking breaks, or "quitting WoW," or doing whatever it is that inevitably causes a massive exodus right before an expansion hits. This time we've noticed an astonishingly high turnover in HEALERS. Go figure.

So after trying to predict and preempt our recruitment needs, we only partially succeeded. On the one hand, we have continued to have Hardmode Success: we have only 2 remaining (Professor Putricide and the Lich King himself), and now we're hoping to invite some new people in to finish the fun with us. Seriously, be the first on Aggramar to kill heroic Arthas!

So we need another set of solid healers. If you like to heal, and you're able to do so while not standing in fire (or Defiles, or Malleable Goos, or whatever else it may be at the moment), please fill out an app. Also note: we're always taking notice of outstanding recruits, even of classes marked as closed. We are not recruiting you to sit on the sidelines. We need healers that will raid EVERY SINGLE NIGHT with us.

Put in an app now and we'll throw in some sexy, seductive flirtations from the drunken hot chick on our vent! I am not even kidding. Want to join yet? ;)

Hardmode Recruitment Update

It's that time again: recruitment time.
Yes, I hear the groans from the audience as well, but this is what happens every single Summer. People decide to "take breaks," or "pass their classes," or "get stuck in the hospital for immeasurable amounts of time," or a myriad of other reasons. The net result is always the same, which is that we get stuck with too few raiders.

Well, we're trying to tackle it early this year. We've continued to have Hardmode Success (with the kill of Blood Queen Lana'Thel last night as proof), and now we're hoping to invite some new people in to the fun with us. Fun! Who doesn't want FUN?! Besides, Hardmode content is just about the only challenge left in this game.

We're looking for a good Enhancement Shaman, Shadow Priest, and Mage above all other spots, but we're always taking notice of outstanding recruits (even of classes we may say are closed).
Put in an app now and we may even bless you with the company of (or at least a few words from) the drunken hot chick on our vent! Now there's a bargain!

It's good to be the King!

You may have heard that we were taking our lumps against the Lich King (25man), and that he was being an enormous PITA. Well, fear not, faithful followers! Exalted Order once again emerged victorious (and notched another server first in the process).

Bosses take note: this is what happens when you mock one of our tanks! Aanar had his revenge! Now Tirion gets the last laugh.

The real implication here is that we get more, new hardmode content. God, I love a good challenge (or 11)! As an aside, check out our recruitment needs again. They've been slightly updated. And as always, make sure you're able to meet ALL of our raid times.
